Abdulrahman Ibrahim has over 20 years relevant Banking experience, Building businesses around Financial services which include Banking operations, Customer Services Management, Retail, Commercial, Public Sector and Mortgage Banking, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Trade and Investment, Commodity Marketing and Supply Chain Management, MSMEs and Developmental Projects. His leadership experience spans across several sectors in the Banking industry having served in various capacities at First Bank, Standard Trust Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, Oceanic International Bank and Fidelity Bank.
He holds a BSc in Biochemistry, Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Banking & Finance (MBF), Master of International Affairs and Diplomacy (MIAD), Master of Information Communication Technology Law (MICTEL) and Professional Certificate in Islamic Banking and Finance (PCIBF). His professional qualifications and memberships include: Professional Certificate in Office Administration (CHCPD) UK, Professional Certificate in Advanced Human Resources (CHCPD) UK, and Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) ABU.
He is also a Honorary Senior Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers (HCIB); Fellow, Chartered Institute of Administration (FCIA); Fellow, Chartered Institute of Loans and Risk Management of Nigeria (FCILRM); Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM); Member, Institute of Directors (MIoD); Member, Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (MFRC), Member, Institute of Financial and Investment Analysts (IFIAN).
AbdulRahman is adept to managing teams with responsibilities for high performance and has the ability to identify, assess and tackle threats and challenges. He also demonstrates good knowledge of areas of corporate governance, strong creative problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills as well as experience in public and private sector partnership.
