He graduated with HND (Accounting) from Nigeria Army School of Finance and Administration (NASFA), Lagos.
Apart from Nigeria Police Mortgage Bank Plc where he represents the NPF National Housing Fund, Innocent also sits on the Board of Nigeria Police Cooperative Multi-Purpose Society Ltd and Nigeria Police Force Property Development & Construction Company Ltd.
He is currently the officer in charge, NPF-NHF, FHQ Abuja. Innocent has held various positions in NPF namely; former staff officer, Welfare, Force Headquarters. Staff Officer, Education; Divisional Traffic Officer (DTO), Ugep and Officer in Charge, Yahe, all in Cross River State Police Command.
He has attended professional courses, some of which include Internal Security and Low Intensity Conflict at Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji; Intermediate Command Course (IICC) and Advanced Detective course both at Police Staff College, Jos, Plateau State. He also attended Stability Police Units High Level Management Course at the Centre of Excellence for Stability Police Units, Vicentza, Italy in 2008.
Furthermore, he has attended many conferences/seminars and workshops like 2nd Global Anti-Fraud Seminar for Fraud Examiners at Nigeria National Merit House, Abuja, International Institute of Professional Security (IIPS) and Sensitization Seminar on Pension Reforms Act, 2004 Organized by the National Pension Commission.
He is a member of the following professional bodies: Institute of Directors, Nigeria (M.IoD), Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (M.FRC) & Institute of Fraud Examiners (M. Ife).
He is happily married and blessed with children.
